Well, that was yesterday, but since i did not post yesterday, i'll post it today!
Woke up at 9am, and went out at 10 to meet Cheuk Wing at Compass Point before heading for Serangoon MRT station to meet up with Wei Chiat, Josephine, Huili and Yong Qian. We waited quite a long time before Yong Qian finally showed up. Then, we had to take the MRT again all the way to Harbourfront to meet Charlton with the volleyball at VivoCity. After more waiting, we finally headed off for Sentosa via the train link.
We went to Siloso Beach but it took us quite a while to get there as we were not sure of how to go there. When we finally did, we quickly put down our stuff and headed for the nearest volleyball court, some of us bare-footed. With the afternoon sun bearing down, the sand was extremely hot, and those not wearing our sandals/slippers quickly ran back for them!
Not long after we began playing, one of us hit the ball too high towards a palm tree...and its stuck, smack in the middle of the branches. We then spent up to an hour or more just trying to get the ball down, throwing rocks, bottles, sticks and even attempting to climb up the tree, which was too slippery. Eventually, we finally got the ball down from the tree using a long pole used to prop up trees and continued playing volleyball.
After a few hours, we got bored and headed for the Merlion walk where there was a water feature that you could walk in. Going through the water features, Yong Qian got sprayed countless times by the jets of water. We next headed back to VivoCity and had our lunch/dinner there. Me and Cheuk Wing eventually got bored and headed home first.
When I got home, i installed the game 'Blazing Angels' which Cheuk Wing lent to me. I spent the rest of the day playing it non-stop!
